King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, January 15, through Friday, January 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between River Road and Circle View Drive in Solebury Township; and
- Monday, January 15, through Thursday, February 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Trenton Avenue at the intersection with Carlisle Drive in Morrisville Borough.
Chester County
- Monday, January 15, through Friday, January 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Seven Oaks Road and Newcomen Road in West Pikeland Township.
Delaware County
- Wednesday, January 17, through Wednesday, January 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Garrett Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Clearbrook Avenue and Lansdowne Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Sherbrook Boulevard, Plumstead Avenue, Marshall Road, and Lansdowne Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
