Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvements Scheduled in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. 

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Chester County
  • Monday, February 5, through Friday, February 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Hibernia Road will be closed and detoured between U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Brandywine Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and Route 82 (Manor Road).
Delaware County
  • Monday, February 5, through Friday, August 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Brookhaven Road/Turner Road will be closed and detoured between Route 252 (Providence Road) and Plush Mill Road in Nether Providence Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 252 (Providence Road) and Baltimore Pike. 
Montgomery County
  • Monday, February 5, through Friday, June 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Horsham Road will be closed and detoured between Route 263 (York Road) and Blair Mill Road in Upper Moreland Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 263 (York Road), Mill Road, Route 611 (Easton Road), and Blair Mill Road. 
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
