Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that sign installation will occur on northbound Interstate 95 in Lower Chichester and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County, under a $56.1 million project to perform high-priority repairs on interstate bridges, to maintain the functionality, safety, and mobility of the structures along critical corridors.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Thursday, April 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road) and Blueball Avenue.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because significant backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
