Roadway Repair to Close City Avenue, Lincoln Drive Ramps at Night Next Week in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that roadway repair will close the ramp from City Avenue to U.S. 1 South and the ramp from Lincoln Drive to westbound Interstate 76 at night next week in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Tuesday, April 21, through Thursday, April 23, from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM the following morning, the ramp from City Avenue to southbound U.S. 1 will be closed and detoured. During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour route.
  • Tuesday, April 21, through Thursday, April 23, from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM the following morning, the ramp from Lincoln Drive to westbound I-76 will be closed and detoured. During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour route.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour routes because significant backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
