King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that roadway construction is scheduled on two state highways in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County, under a local safety improvement project.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, February 23, through Tuesday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in each direction between Creek Road and Ring Road for curb demolition, milling, ADA ramp installation, and utility construction.
- Wednesday, February 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Creek Road between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Upper Bank Drive for curb installation, milling, and ADA ramp installation.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
