King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement will close Morningside Drive/Reading Furnace Road/Mansion Road in Warwick and East Nantmeal townships and Route 345 (Pine Swamp Road) in Warwick Township, Chester County.
Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, June 1, through Wednesday, June 3, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Morningside Drive/Reading Furnace Road/Mansion Road will be closed and detoured between Route 23 (Ridge Road) and Route 401 (Conestoga Road). During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 23 (Ridge Road), Route 345 (Bulltown Road), and Route 401 (Conestoga Road).
- Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 345 (Pine Swamp Road) will be closed and detoured between Warwick Road and Harmonyville Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Warwick Road, Route 23 (Ridge Road), Saint Peters Road, and Harmonyville Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
