King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement will close Route 23 (Ridge Road) next week in East Vincent and East Pikeland townships, Chester County.
Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, July 13, through Wednesday, July 15, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Route 23 (Ridge Road) will be closed and detoured between Hares Hill Road and Buckwalter Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Hares Hill Road, Route 742 (Schuylkill Road), Stony Run Road, and Buckwalter Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.
