Evansburg Road had been closed since Wednesday, April 8, between Hidden Forest Drive and Ivy Lane after severe bridge scour was discovered during a recent inspection.

The single-span, arch deck bridge was built in 1930 and reconstructed in 1971. The structure is 15-feet-long, 21.5-feet-wide, and carries approximately 3,247 vehicles per day.
