Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that landscape installations will close the ramp from westbound Interstate 676 to eastbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) at night next week in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, the ramp from westbound I-676 to eastbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) will be closed and detoured. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use westbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway), exit at Girard Avenue (Exit 342), and travel west on Girard Avenue to access the ramp to eastbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway).
- From 9:00 PM Friday, May 29, to 6:00 AM Monday, June 1, the ramps from eastbound and westbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to Montgomery Drive (Exit 341) will be closed and detoured for a special event. Motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour routes.
