Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a fiber optic cable installation will occur next week on the ramp from northbound I-95 to westbound I-676 in Center City Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, July 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure will be in place on the ramp from northbound I-95 to westbound I-676.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The work is being done as part of PennDOT’s I-95 Section GR8 project to install and update ITS equipment across regional highways.
