King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair operations will close two sections of Terwood Road in Upper Moreland and Lower Moreland townships, Montgomery County.
Weather permitting, motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 20, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Terwood Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Edgehill Road and Davisville Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Edgehill Road, Route 63 (Moreland Road), Route 611 (Old York Road), and Davisville Road.
- Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 20, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Terwood Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Edgehill Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road). During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Edgehill Road and Route 63 (Old Welsh Road/Welsh Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times. School buses and emergency services will be permitted access through the work zones.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour routes because backups and delays may occur.
