Roadway Reconstruction Continues Next Week on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that roadway reconstruction is planned next week on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Drivers are also reminder that Sanatoga Road remains closed and detoured between Linfield Road and High Street through Monday, December 1, for demolition of the westbound side of the bridge over U.S. 422. Motorists are being directed to use High Street, Evergreen Road, and Linfield Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

This work is part of PennDOT’s $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve approximately 2.1 miles of the expressway and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township.
