Resurfacing Operations Planned Next Week on Several State Highways in Philadelphia, Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing operations are planned next week on several state highways in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Arch Street between Front Street and 15th Street in Center City Philadelphia, for milling and other construction activities.
  • Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Cross Road between Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Route 113 (Harleysville Pike) in Skippack and Upper Salford townships, Montgomery County, for milling and paving.
  • Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Grosstown Road between High Street and Berks Street in West Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, for milling, paving, and utility construction.
  • Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Linfield Trappe Road between Township Line Road and Main Street in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, for milling, paving, and utility construction.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
