King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on Newtown Road in Easttown Township, Chester County, beginning Monday, December 1.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, December 1, through Friday, December 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Newtown Road will be closed weekdays between Sugartown Road and Waterloo Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Sugartown Road, Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road), St. David’s Road, and Newtown Street Road.
