King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on Brownsville Road in Bensalem and Lower Southampton townships, Bucks County, beginning Monday, November 10.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, November 10, through Friday, February 27, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM the following morning, Brownsville Road will be closed and detoured weeknights between Bristol Road and Knable Lane. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bristol Road, Old Lincoln Highway, and Route 132 (Street Road).
Local access will be maintained. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
