King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pavement patching operations will occur next week on Yale Avenue in Swarthmore Borough, Delaware County.
Weather permitting, motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, August 18, through Friday, August 22, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging will occur on Yale Avenue between Route 320 (Chester Road) and Avondale Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
