Daytime Pavement Patching Scheduled Saturday, Next Week on Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that daytime pavement patching operations will occur this weekend and next week on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Saturday, January 3, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, lane closures will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and Allegheny Avenue interchanges.
  • Monday, January 5, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, lane closures will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and Allegheny Avenue interchanges
  • Tuesday, January 6, and Wednesday, January 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
