Emergency Fiber Repair to Close Interstate 295 West Ramp to U.S. 1 South in Middletown Township, Bucks County

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that emergency fiber repair will close the I-295 westbound ramp to U.S. 1 southbound in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Beginning at 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, the I-295 westbound ramp to U.S. 1 southbound will be closed and detoured. The ramp will remain closed until the repair work is completed. Detour signage will be posted.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
