Allentown, PA - Members of the Lehigh Valley DUI/Highway Safety Task Force will partner with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), local law enforcement and community partners in emphasizing the importance of safety on the roadways for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. At the November 21st event, the task force members will be interacting and education with Moravian University students.
The days surrounding and including Thanksgiving are traditionally among the busiest travel days of the year with a high number of alcohol-related crashes. Students will be encouraged to follow safe driving practices as they head home, and during their holiday break.
