Single Lane Closure on Interstate 81 in Susquehanna County

Dunmore, PA – There will be short-term single lane closures on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Susquehanna County between Exit 211 (Lenox) and Exit 206 (Glenwood/Lenoxville) on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for utility pole replacement. Rain date will be Friday, May 29, 2026.

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
