Overnight Lane Restrictions and Rolling Traffic Slowdowns on Interstate 84 in Pike County

Dunmore, PA – There will be overnight lane restrictions and rolling traffic slowdowns on Interstate 84 between Exit 17 (Hamlin/Newfoundland) and Exit 26 (Promised Land State Park/Tafton) on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, through Thursday, February 19, 2026, nightly from 6 PM to 6 AM, for a contractor pulling aerial fiberoptic cable. All work will be weather dependent.

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
