    Overnight Lane Restrictions and Closures on Interstate 81 in Lackawanna County

    Dunmore, PA – There will be overnight lane restrictions and closures on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Lackawanna County between Exit 180 (Moosic) and Exit 194 (Clarks Summit) on Thursday, May 14, 2026, to Friday, May 15, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for guiderail replacement, weather dependent.

    When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
