Overnight Detour Due to Partial Closure of Route 11 in Pittston, Luzerne County

Dunmore, PA – There will be overnight closure of a portion of Route 11 (North Main Street) in Pittston, Luzerne County, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 8 PM to 6 AM to perform test drilling for underground utility locations. Traffic will be detoured onto Kennedy Boulevard then back onto Main Street during the overnight closure.

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
