    Lane Restrictions on Interstate 81 Southbound in Luzerne County

    Dunmore, PA – There will be left lane restrictions on Interstate 81 southbound in Luzerne County between Exit 180 (Moosic) and Exit 165 (Mountain Top/Wilkes-Barre) on Monday, May 18, 2026, through Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily for patching and crack sealing.

    When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
