Dunmore, PA – There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound on Monday, January 12, 2026, and Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for bridge deck patching. Restrictions will be in place in the following areas:
· Monday, January 12, 2026 – northbound driving lane between Exit 145 (West Hazleton) and Exit 151 (Interstate 80 - Stroudsburg/Bloomsburg)
· Tuesday, January 13, 2926 – northbound driving lane between Exit 155 (Dorrance) and Exit 159 (Nuangola).
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
