Dunmore, PA – There will be right lane restrictions and closures on the North Cross Valley Expressway (Route 309) in Plains Township, Luzerne County between the River Street (Exit 3) and Rutter Avenue (Exit 4) beginning Monday, May 18, 2026, through Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily for bridge inspection.
· Northbound right lane closure will take place on Monday, May 18, 2026, and Tuesday, May 19,2026. Lane restrictions on Monday, May 18, 2006, will also include the River Street (Exit 3) ramp eastbound and westbound from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
· Southbound right lane closure will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, and Thursday, May 21, 2026.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
