    Bridge Pothole Repair Will Require Lane Restrictions on Interstate 81 in Luzerne County

    Dunmore, PA – There will be driving lane restrictions/closures on Interstate 81 northbound in Luzerne County between Nuangola (Exit 159) and Nanticoke/South Cross Valley Expressway (Exit 164) on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for emergency bridge pothole repair.

    When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
