Ramp Closure on Interstate 84 in Wayne County

Dunmore, PA – The Exit 17 (Route 191/Newfoundland/Hamlin) eastbound on-ramp to Interstate 84 will be closed for emergency repairs beginning Monday, October 13, 2025, and continuing through Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

The following detour will be in place:

To travel on Route 191 from Interstate 84 eastbound:

·       Take Interstate 84 eastbound to Exit 20 (Route 507).

·       Turn left on to Route 507.

·       Turn left onto Interstate 84 westbound.

·       Take Exit 17 to Route 191

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
