Dunmore, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to an in-person and virtual plans display regarding the Route 1034 Culvert Replacement Project over a Branch of Harvey’s Creek in Lake Township, Luzerne County. The public plans display will be held at the Lake Township Building, 488 State Route 29, Harvey’s Lake, PA 18618 on December 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing structure located on Route 1034 Section 350, carrying traffic over a Branch of Harvey’s Creek, including approach roadway replacement, and upgraded guiderail and end treatments. The existing 8’-0” stone arch culvert will be replaced with an 8'-0" x 5'-0" precast reinforced concrete box culvert. The proposed roadway will consist of 2 – 10'-0" travel lanes and 2'-0" shoulders.
The virtual plans display are available online December 1, 2025 through December 30, 2025.
