Dunmore, PA – PennDOT will be closing a portion of Route 347 (Justus Boulevard) between Route 632 (Carbondale Road) and Route 524 (Kennedy Creek Drive) in Scott Township for a culvert replacement project on September 2, 2025, through the end of the fall, 2025. The detour utilizes Interstate 81 from Exit 197 (Waverly) to Exit 199 (Scott).
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
