Dunmore, PA – There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 southbound between Exit 194 (Clarks Summit) and Exit 191A (Dickson City) on Monday, August 25, 2025, and Tuesday, August 26, 2025, for brushing and shoulder washout repair. On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and Thursday, August 28, 2025, there will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound between Exit 191A and Exit 194. Restrictions will be in place from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
