Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that survey work will be performed next week along Route 42 (Mall Boulevard) in Hemlock Township, Columbia County.
On Monday, February 26, 2024 and Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the contractor Don E. Bower, will be performing survey work at the intersection of Mall Boulevard and Route 4003 (Frosty Valley Road). Motorists can expect minimal impact to traffic with occasional single lane with flagging when needed. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM, weather permitting.
The survey work is being performed in preparation for an intersection improvement project which will include the installation of a traffic signal. Work on the project will include road widening and addition of turn lanes. Hemlock Township is the sponsor of this project.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
