Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a two-year resurfacing and bridge preservation project is set to restart on Route 15 southbound in Tioga and Richmond townships, Tioga County.
On Tuesday, May 26, the contractor, Glenn O Hawbaker, will restart the project in Tioga Township from the Keystone Welcome Center to approximately 2.5 miles north of the Main Street/Mansfield interchange (Exit 183) in Richmond Township. Drivers can expect long-term single lane conditions.
The week of Monday, June 1, the contractor will be milling and paving the parking lots and ramps at the Keystone Welcome Center beginning at 7:00 AM. The center, including the parking lots and comfort facilities, will be closed during this period and is expected to reopen on Friday, June 5 at 6:00 PM.
This project is anticipated to be completed in late July 2026. Motorists are urged to drive with caution in the work zone.
Glenn O Hawbaker is the prime contractor on this $6,036,000 which includes on/off ramp resurfacing and bridge preservation work including milling, base repairs, paving, concrete deck repairs, epoxy overlay, guiderail upgrades, line painting, and other miscellaneous construction work.
