Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a tree trimming project is continues this week on Interstate 80 in Hemlock, Scott, South Centre, and Mifflin townships, Columbia County.
Today, Monday, April 6, the contractor, Dincher and Dincher Tree Surgeons, will continue trimming and removing trees and brush within the PennDOT right-of-way for better sign visibility at 12 locations. Drivers can expect work to take place off the roadway in most locations but should expect a right (driving) lane restriction between mile markers 233 and 234 tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7, while work is being performed at this location between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Offroad work will take place between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM and anticipated to be completed Friday, April 10, weather permitting.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution through the work zone.
