Montoursville, PA – Drivers traveling Route 15 northbound and southbound are advised that a road maintenance will take place next week in Monroe Township, Snyder County.
Between Sunday, May 17 through Wednesday, May 20, the contractor, Suit-Kote Corporation, will perform base repairs on Route 15 in both directions between the Route 11/15 split in Shamokin Dam Borough, Monroe Township and the Route 147 interchange. Additional work includes removal of the permanent line paint and placement of temporary line paint.
Drivers can expect alternating lane restrictions between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
Suit-Kote Corporation is the prime contractor for this $1.15 million microsurface project. Work on the project includes base repairs, line paint removal, double application of microsurface treatment, and line paint. Work on the project is anticipated to be completed in July 2026, weather permitting.
