Montoursville, PA – Drivers traveling Interstate 80 east and west are advised that a multi-year construction project continues between Danville, Montour County and Limestoneville, Northumberland County.
The Week of Sunday, June 7
The contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, will continue paving operations in the eastbound lanes and milling operations in the westbound lanes between Exit 215 (Route 254 / Limestoneville) and Exit 224 (Route 54/Danville). Drivers can expect alternating lane restrictions between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM (11-hours a day) Sundays through Fridays where work is being performed.
Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. is the prime contractor for this $53,138,380 project. Work includes roadway reconstruction, resurfacing, structure replacement, rehabilitation, preservation, lighting, and other miscellaneous work. This multi-year project is expected to be completed in 2027.
