Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised a pipe replacement project will take place next week on Walnut Acres Road (Route 1003) in Center Township, Snyder County.
Starting on Monday, August 3, Walnut Acres Road will be closed daily between Route 104 and Richard Road (Route 1001), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew performs a pipe replacement.
A detour using Route 104 and Richard Road will be in place each day between the hours of 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Work on the project is anticipated to be completed by Tuesday, August 4, weather permitting. Drivers should be alert, expect minor delays in travel, and drive with caution in the area.
