Paving Project Begins Today on Muncy Exchange Road in Anthony Township, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) paving crew will begin a paving project today on Muncy Exchange Road (Route 1003) in Anthony Township, Montour County.

Between Tuesday, June 2 and Monday, June 8, Muncy Exchange Road will be closed between Route 44 and Hickory Road (Route 1008) while a PennDOT paving crew mills notches and paves.

A detour using Route 44, Gearhart Road (Route 4008) and Hickory Road will be in place during daylight hours. There will be no work completed during the weekend. Work is anticipated to be completed on Monday, June 8, weather permitting.

Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
