McKees Half Falls Rest Area to Open April 6 in Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – The McKees Half Falls Rest Area, located along Route 11 northbound in Chapman Township, Snyder County, will reopen on Monday, April 6. 

Located approximately 7 miles north of Liverpool, Perry County, and 3 miles south of Port Trevorton, Snyder County, McKees Half Falls has a small picnic area with grills and scenic view of the Susquehanna River, with primitive composting toilets.

Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
