Montoursville, PA – In an effort to improve our environment and clean up our local roadways, PennDOT maintenance crews in Northumberland County will continue picking up litter next week along the following roadways:
- Interstate 80 between the Union County and Montour County lines.
- Interstate 180 between Interstate 80 and the Lycoming County line.
- Route 147 between Union County line and Interstate 80.
Crews will be picking up litter along the above routes beginning Monday, March 30, 2026, to Thursday, April 2, 2026, during daylight hours, weather permitting.
There will be no impacts to traffic during litter cleanup activities. Drivers are reminded to slow down, drive with caution, be alert for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and watch for workers near the roadway.
