7:40 AM UPDATE: Route 54 is open in Northumberland County.
Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that Route 54 is closed in both directions between Route 61 and Route 487 in Ralpho Township, Northumberland County, due to a vehicle crash.
A detour using Route 61 and Route 487 is in place. The roadway is expected to be open later this morning. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
