    8:05 PM UPDATE: (ROAD OPEN) Crash Closes Route 235 in Snyder and Juniata Counties

    8:05 PM UPDATE: Route 235 is open in Snyder and Juniata counties.

    Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that both lanes of Route 235 are closed between Route 522 in Spring Township, Snyder County and Route 35 in Juniata County, due to a vehicle crash with downed utilities. 

    A detour using Route 522, Route 104, and Route 35 is in place.

    Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.

    Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
