    4:15 PM Update (Open) Crash Closes Portion of Route 15 Southbound in Northern Lycoming County

    4:15 PM Update: Route 15 southbound is now open in Northern Lycoming County. 

    Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that Route 15 southbound is closed between Exit 158 (Route 284/Buttonwood/English Center) in Jackson Township and Exit 155 (Route 184/Steam Valley) in Cogan House Township in Lycoming County, due to a tractor trailer crash.

    A detour using Route 284, Route 287, Route 220, and Interstate 180 is in place. Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.

    Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
