Bridge Maintenance Today on the Veterans Memorial Bridge in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a bridge maintenance project will take place today on the Veterans Memorial Bridge in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County.

On Thursday, May 28, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will be replacing delineators in the median area of the bridge. Drivers can expect lane restrictions where work is being performed.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
