Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised of a bridge maintenance project on Interstate 80 in both directions in South Centre and Mifflin townships, Columbia County.
Between Tuesday, April 28 and Thursday, April 30, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation maintenance crew will perform bridge flushing on the bridges that carry Interstate 80 over the Susquehanna River. Work will be performed between Exit 241 (Route 11/Berwick) and Exit 242 (Route 339/Mifflinville/Mainville). Drivers can expect alternating lane restrictions between the hours of 8:00 Am and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Drivers should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
