Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised that a bridge maintenance project will take place next week on the Veterans Memorial Bridge in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County.
Monday, October 19 through Wednesday, October 21, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will be performing deck work on the bridge between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Drivers can expect single lane conditions, with one lane open to traffic in each direction.
PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
