Base Repairs Next Week on Muncy Exchange Road in Anthony Township, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers who travel Muncy Exchange Road (Route 1003) in Anthony Township, Montour County are advised a base repair project will take place next week.

On Monday, May 18, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing base repairs on Muncy Exchange Road between Hickory Road (Route 1008) and Route 44. Work will take place between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Muncy Exchange Road will be closed to traffic during the project. A detour using Hickory Road, Gearhart Road (Route 4008) and Route 44 will be in place. School buses and emergency vehicles will be able to access the closed portion of the road.
