Utility Work Next Week on Route 11 Northbound in Danville Borough, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Drivers are advised of a lane restriction next week on Northumberland Street (Route 11) in Danville Borough, Montour County, for a utility upgrade project.

On Thursday, June 25, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM, the northbound lane will be restricted while the contractor, Harger Utility Contractors, Inc., connects the new middle school service to the water main at the intersection at Beaver Place. Work includes excavation, water main connections, back fill, and patching. Northbound traffic can expect to be shifted to the middle turn lane.

This project is part of a water main replacement project sponsored by Danville School District. This work will finalize the portions of the project impacting the roadway.
