Weight Restriction Announced for Wyalusing New Albany Road in Terry and Wyalusing Townships, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising motorists in Bradford County that a portion of Wyalusing New Albany Road (Route 2010) in Terry and Wyalusing townships will be posted with a permanent, year-round, 10-ton weight restriction.

On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, a 10-ton weight limit will be placed on Wyalusing New Albany Road between Shaffer’s Notch Road (Route 2011) in Terry Township and Grand Army of Republic Highway (Route 6) in Wyalusing Township.

The posting is being made based on a traffic-and-engineering study indicating that this highway may be damaged by vehicles that exceed the restriction.

School buses, emergency vehicles and local-delivery trucks are exempted from the postings.

The restriction will be in effect once the required signs are erected by a PennDOT maintenance crew in the upcoming weeks.
