Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a water main project will take place next week at the intersection of Fourth Street (Route 4004) and Packer Street in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County.
On Monday, October 6, 2025, the contractor, Mid-State Paving, will be connecting a new water line at the intersection of Fourth Street and Packer Street. Motorists can expect a lane restriction with flagging between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Mid-State Paving is the contractor for Sunbury Municipal Authority’s water line project. Work on this project includes excavation, a waterline connection, backfill, and paving.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
